It features 20mm chrome plated hardened steel shafts, high torque Nema 23 stepper motors and an 800Watts high speed Kress milling motor as a spindle.

We chose the 800Watts Kress Milling Motor to be the Yoda's spindle.

The Kress spindle comes ready with a factory test certificate of runout which guarantees the runout to be <0.15mm.

Yoda comes with an Arduino UNO and a GRBL Shield with DRV8825 Stepper Drivers as a controller.

The main reasons we chose Arduino UNO and the GRBL firmware are their ease of use, stellar performance and of course cost effectiveness.
