Forget about reading manuals and spending hours to fit every cable and screw.
Just plug into the power line, connect the USB port and you could be carving your first designs minutes after you receive your Rabbit Mill v3.0.
Unlike competition, Rabbit Mill v3.0 skeleton is made from St37-2 steel.
The reason we decided to make a desktop CNC machine entirely from steel is to ensure that it will maintain its precision in long term operation.
We chose low inductance Nema 23 stepper motors with a holding toque of 1.16Nm (164.3oz.in) and 200 steps per revolution for Rabbit Mill v3.0.
These motors, combined with the anti-backlash nuts, are capable to provide the required torque in order to mill wood, plastics and non ferous metals such as aluminum with a resolution of 0.04mm.
Rabbit Mill v3.0 is equipped with an 800Watts or 1050Watts AMB Spindle.
The AMB spindle comes ready with a factory test certificate of runout which guarantees the runout to be <0.15mm.
Rabbit Mill v3.0 comes with an Arduino UNO and a GRBL Shield with DRV8825 Stepper Drivers as a controller.
The main reasons we chose Arduino UNO and the GRBL software are their ease of use, stellar performance and of course cost effectiveness.
You can control your Rabbit Mill v3.0 using the SourceRabbit GCode Sender.
SourceRabbit GCode Sender is open source and FREE and you can download it from our Downloads page.
You can get your Rabbit Mill with a license for the latest ESTLCam software.
ESTLCam is a complete CAM(Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software solution for 3 Axis CNC production machining.
