All axes of the Rabbit Mill 3030 are assembled from precision hardened steel shafts with a diameter of ⌀20mm, while the square linear rails of the Z axis give extra strength and precision while milling hard materials. Its limit switches (endstops) are connected to an optocoupler circuit that isolates any external electromagnetic interference and guarantees accuracy on the homing process.

Unlike competition, Rabbit Mill skeleton is made from St37-2 steel.
The reason we decided to make a desktop CNC machine entirely from steel is to ensure that it will maintain its precision in long term operation.
Compared to other micro cnc routers on the market, Rabbit Mill 3030 is equipped with high quality ballscrews.
Ballscrews offer a high level of mechanical efficiency while they eliminate backlash.
We chose low inductance Nema 23 stepper motors with a holding toque of 1.16Nm (164.3oz.in) and 200 steps per revolution for Rabbit Mill 3030.
These motors, combined with the zero backlash ballscrews, are capable to provide the required torque in order to mill wood, plastics and non ferous metals such as aluminum with a resolution of 0.0025mm.
Rabbit Mill 3030 is equipped with 1050Watt AMB Spindle.
The AMB spindle comes ready with a factory test certificate of runout which guarantees the runout to be <0.15mm at a distance of 25mm from the tip of the Spindle.
Rabbit Mill ships with a license for Focus PC Based CNC control system.
With Focus you will be able to control your Rabbit Mill 3030 using a USB port on your computer.
