4-Axis CNC Motion Controller Board – ESP32, GRBL, 120kHz Steprate

The 4-Axis CNC Motherboard comes fully assembled and with the GRBL firmware pre-installed. It is equipped with a dual-core Xtensa 32-bit LX6 microprocessor (ESP32) running at 240 MHz, capable of driving up to 4 stepper or servo motors with stable and clean 120 kHz Step/Dir pulses.

The board has been extensively tested under real CNC operating conditions to ensure clean and stable power delivery with high immunity to electromagnetic interference (EMI). This testing focuses on minimizing electrical noise, ensuring consistent timing and maintaining reliable step generation, even in electrically noisy CNC environments.

The opto-isolated limit switches and Probe inputs, operating at 12 VDC, protect the controller from external electromagnetic interference commonly found in CNC environments. All other outputs — including Spindle PWM, Spindle Enable, Mist and Flood coolant — operate at stable and clean 5 VDC, suitable for direct control of external devices.

The 12 VDC power input includes reverse polarity protection and high-quality Samsung ceramic capacitors for effective input current filtering, further improving power stability and noise immunity.

The 4-Axis CNC Motherboard is compatible with all GRBL-based G-code sender applications. For the best experience, we recommend using Focus - CNC Control System .
