Its skeleton is a mixed steel and industrial aluminum construction. All axes are assembled from supported hardened shafts, in order to maximize precision, while the movement is transmitted with zero backlash Ballscrews.
There is a precision waterproof terminal switch on each axes connected to an optocoupler circuit in order to eliminate any external electromagnetic interference.

Χ & Υ axes are assembled with 16mm supported chrome plated rails (SBR16).
Supported rails ensures rigidity and smooth milling operations even on the hardest aluminum alloys.
The stepper motors have a torque of 1.90Nm (269.0oz.in) and in conjunction with the ballscrews, are able to provide the required torque to machine wood, plastic and non-ferrous metals such as aluminum.
You can choose your Rabbit Mill Mega to come with an AMB 1050Watt or an AMB 1400Watt spindle.
Both spindles are extremely precise and reliable with AMB 1400 being more powerful when it comes to high speed aluminum machining.
Rabbit Mill Mega has built-in Tool Setter D16.
The tool length measurement sensor automatically measures tool height and makes tool changing a simple and trouble free process.
Rabbit Mill Mega is equipped with Precision limit switches with IP67 waterproof rating and ≤0.008mm repeatability.
Rabbit Mill Mega ships with a license for Focus PC Based CNC control system.
With Focus you will be able to control your Rabbit Mill Mega using a USB port on your computer.
